B-LJA Hong Kong Trader
The very much anticipated B-LJA finally made it to Hong Kong!
Delivery flight, with call sign Cathay 3337 as usual, departed PAE at 2:32pm PST on November 15th for a 14-hour cross Pacific journey. It reached HKG at 8:46pm local time (already November 16th due to time difference.)
I took the 5:25pm ferry to SLW in the hope that LJA will land on the south runway and I'll be able to snap a few shots. Well, you guessed it - north runway it went. Nonetheless it was quite an experience taking pictures standing in the middle of nowhere in almost complete darkness. Anyway, this shot was taken at around 9:50pm when it was parked in bay C33 on the cargo apron.
The walk back to Tung Chung, with a heavy backpack and a tripod on the shoulder, was the part that I did not look forward to.
